Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Our volunteers Tara and Haven, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama scheduled to have a booth at the annual Pet PAWloosa Festival on the Quad of the University of Alabama.  The general public was invited to attend with their dogs, join in the celebration with food, music, contests and lots of fun.  WRTVS had a successful day speaking to lots of Weim owners and potentials owners and even a vet student from Auburn who owns a Weim and promised to help us out once she graduates from school!  Kim Coley of Birmingham, AL and Allic Cassity of Huntsville, AL also attended to help out with the event.  They sold several Weim goodies totaling over $100.00 and passed out lots of magnets and newsletters.  It was a wonderful spring event and helped raised the awareness of the Tuscaloosa community about Weim Rescue.
